"L.A. Girlz" is the eighth track from The White Album. It was the fourth song to be officially released prior to the album's release.  The melody for "L.A. Girlz" was originally written by Weezer guitarist Brian Bell. Musician Luther Russell, who has frequently produced and co-written songs for Bell's band The Relationship, is also credited as a co-writer. On June 18, 2019, Bell posted a clip of his original demo to his Instagram account.
